This past June, Ms. Keri Stacer retired from the Huron County Prosecutor’s Office after more than 25 years of service.  Hired in October 1996, she saw a wide variety of Prosecutors and Assistant Prosecutors go through the Prosecutor’s Office, all with different perspectives.  Yet through it all, she provided a steady hand, ensuring that everyone in the office was prepared with the needed files. The plaque she received noted that she exemplified the office’s “values of honesty, integrity and professionalism” during her 27 years in the office.

Tim Rutkowski, Huron County Prosecutor, stated: “Ms. Stacer was one of those employees who diligently and effectively kept this office moving forward.   She not only worked with the attorneys in the office, she worked with crime victims and other members of the public on a regular basis, making sure everyone was treated fairly and professionally.”  He continued declaring: “We wish her a wonderful retirement, she definitely deserves it, but there is no question, she will be missed in the office.”
